An Ode to the Oppressed
Sulfur and grime,
Dripping sweat from
Fingertips gripping
The acidic page of
Lost hope and unevil
Of religious scrutiny and
Prevention.
Revelation at the release
Of soulless complaints that
Consume the feet, the hands,
The throat , the stomach,
The mind body and spirit
Of the oppressed men and
Women only seeking a friendly
Glance or nod.
Form the unking on his throne.
