Your Shoreline
I cannot find my place in the world.
I am different,
My mind is in a different place and
Set as the accepted many.
The tide of reality is constantly
At my feet and the rocks always hard
And ruff on my bare hands.
But I can always rely on thy moon
To rid me of the fluid earth and
Give me beach to run on,
Play and sit on,
To dream.
Without you the world is harsh,
Stormy, and full of waves,
Ever changing, with no place to
Put myself.
You give me the shoreline
To set myself, and be.
