The Sun and the Earth
Her hair billows softly in the high noon breeze,
Brown, deep, like flowing clouds.
She stands on a hill of pink and blue
The flowers swimming at her feet with the wind.
She looks back over her shoulder,
Her sweet face shinning with love.
She’s looking at me.
I’m looking at her.
The love passing between us in our gaze,
Warping space and time around our
Bodies as they collide in the sweet
Smell of night.
We run together
Through the forest in Autumn
As the leaves swirl around us
Surrounding her and I in a swirl of
Brown, yellow, orange, gold and silver.
The love passing between us in our gaze
Spinning as one in the sea of leaves and light.
We run away together,
Escaping the cruel world as we hold each other
Hand in Hand
Lip to Lip
Leg and thigh
Her and I:
The earth and the sun,
Two and One.
