An Angel Has Come Down From Heaven
An angel has come down from heaven.
Her wispy clouds of black hair smoothing
The edges of her face.
Clad in a radiant dress of snow
Accenting her bright, soft cheeks
And full, perfect lips.
Her feet are bare, and when
She walks she is almost floating
Across the boundaries of heaven and earth.
And her eyes…
If only there were words to
Describe such eyes as hers.
They sparkle and shine like the sunlight
Across water, and cool ones thoughts
Like a soft winters snow.
She smiles as she touches my face,
Washing away all the pain and
Sorrow like a summers rain,
And gazes at me with her brown
And illustrious eyes of wonder.
Our lips meet, I close my eyes.
Passion passing between
She and me as tongue meets tongue.
I embrace her smooth body
Dressed in white snow and bring
Her body to min own.
Our souls intertwine and connect,
Bound together like lovers,
Bound together like the earth and the moon,
Bound together like the threads of eternity.
Our kiss breaks, she lays her head on my chest.
Still in embrace, holding one another,
One body,
One mind,
One soul,
And bound in her embrace a single
Tear slides down my cheek.
Happiness, Sadness, Lust and Hope,
All these feelings fill my empty heart,
Brimming on insanity.
I was lost.
But now a beacon has ascended the stairway from heaven
To show that I am not alone.
An angel has come down from heaven to be with me.
To be with me.
